PRP Treatment For Hair Loss
PRP Hair Loss – Non-invasive treatment for thinning hair
As we age and go through hormonal changes, thinning hair happens to everyone, including women. While there’s no way to entirely stop your hair loss, there is an option for preventing hair loss by preserving the follicles that remain. Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) therapy is a non-surgical procedure for people suffering from alopecia, hair thinning or male pattern baldness. Plasma is a component of blood which is full of healing and growth factors. When injected into areas of hair loss, it can help strengthen follicles and increase the quality and thickness of the hair. PRP will strengthen and thicken existing hair but it will not replace lost hair.
Hair loss or thinning hair is not gender specific, as recent worldwide statistics site that 40% of those suffering from hair loss are women. While some may think that hair restoration is an aesthetic choice, we happen to believe that treating hair loss helps our clients emotionally by restoring confidence. With a customized PRP non-surgical hair replacement treatment plan, it is possible for men and women to feel good about their hair again.
Preparing for Treatment
It is recommended that patients wash and dry their hair the morning of the PRP session. Do not apply sprays, gels, or any other styling products to your hair. If you wear a hair system, please remove it before your PRP treatments. It is fine to color your hair up to 3 days before the procedure.
